Rates quoted are per room per night. Hotel accommodation can only be reserved if you provide credit cards details as a guarantee. Accommodation costs must be settled directly with the hotel on your departure. Should you want to extend your stay out-with the Conference dates please contact Amanda@in-conference.org.com who will organise this for you.
IMPORTANT: If you do not arrive at your hotel on the due date or reduce the number of nights you stay, the hotel may cancel your reservation and charge you for all nights booked.
Delegate Cancellation
- Between July 31 and October 1 the delegate fees will be refunded less €65.00 administration fee.
- After October 1, no refunds will be given.
- All cancellations must be received in writing.
- Delegates who fail to arrive at the conference will still be liable to pay the full amount.
Student Satellite Symposium
There will be a satellite meeting on Sunday from 1.00pm to 6.00pm specifically for students to present oral presentations to an audience consisting mainly of other students and post docs. A few selections from these presentations will be asked to present to the IMGC. Others will present posters at the IMGC. All the costs of this satellite meeting will be covered in the scholarship awards, but other students and post docs are encouraged to attend. Please submit your abstract and note your intent to attend this satellite session when registering.
Scholarship Awards
If you are interested in applying for scholarship funds, please send an email request by July 1, 2008 to Darla Miller at millerdr@ornl.gov
In the e-mail, please include your name, address, the name of your laboratory head, a copy of your abstract (which must also be submitted on-line at www.imgc.org) and your position (student or post doc).
As in previous years, you must be an International Mammalian Genome Society member to receive financial aid. The membership rate for students and post docs with the journal, Mammalian Genome is US $79 per calendar and US $20 for students and post docs who do not wish to receive the journal. To become a member, you can apply at https://www.ornl.gov/imgs/application.shtml. You can apply for membership at the same time of aid application.
