We welcome you to the 22nd Annual Mammalian Genome Conference and to Prague, Czech Republic. We are planning an exciting meeting aimed at breaking research news on mammalian genomes, epigenomes and phenotypes. The meeting will begin with Bioinformatics Speakers followed by the Student Satellite Meeting. It will continue with sessions on Comparative Genomics/ Computational Biology, Development / Cancer / Biology / Aging, Epigenetics, Immunity / Infection, Modeling Disease, Mutagenesis and Neuroscience / Behaviour.

Since the Middle Ages, Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, has been known as one of the most beautiful cities of the world, and has attributed adjectives such as "golden" or "city of hundred spires".

The conference will take place in the new building (opened in 2007) of the Institute of Molecular Genetics, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and its adjacent Conference Center. The Institute is conveniently located, 15 min from the Historic Old Prague.
